Disappearing Oil

What check ball and spring are you referring to?
I stand corrected, we must be talking about a twin cam.....
I thought it was an Evo.
If it were an Evo, you guys would recognize the check ball.
The problem is the same.....sumping.
However, the cause is different.
I apologize for any confusion.

Twin cam issues that result in sumping:
1.Valves in rocker boxes are stuck or worn out.

2. Pinched o-rings.

3. Scavenge port hole not aligned with the seal on the oil pump.

4. Return oil passages in heads and cylinders plugged.

5. Excessive run out of pinion shaft.

(.002” max.)

6. Geo-rotors out of tolerance.

( .004” max.)

7. Scavenge gears or oil pump body damaged from debris going thru the pump.

8. Piston rings not seated, possible by over revving engine.

No worries, just don't want to confuse the TC guys. Too bad the TCs don't have a check ball.
